NOTE ON TRUE-SCALE SIZES
We have gone to true scale sizes on the
widths of these materials. Previously, some sizes were a compromise, either
a little larger or smaller. Now they are right on. If you have a project
that requires matching the old material, perhaps we can help. Let us know
exactly what you are looking for- and we will see if we can match it.
Our N-scale material is .0015" thick and our
HO, S and O-scale material is .003" thick.
While our strips are all cut to 7-1/2" lengths
the real thing was provided in manageable sizes, sort of like plywood sheets today.
HISTORICALLY SPEAKING
Did you know that not until recently has 3 inch corrugation become the standard.
Beginning in the 1840's it ranged from 1 inch to 5 inches! Therefore it is plausable
to use our N, S or O scale corrugation on your HO model. Perhaps even on the same building.
This may confuse some NMRA model judges so better document it!
